another tasty desert!

I think creme brulee is a really tasty and easy desert. It's a custard with a crunchy torched sugar crust on top. I found my recipe in an old edition of the magazine Fine Cooking, you can also get the recipe if you register at their website. The great thing about the recipe they had was that you could subsitute the flavor really easily. If you don't want the traditional vanilla use orange zest and juice or caramel flavoring. The key to the brulee though is the torching process. Fine Cooking has provided the video to teach how it is done so that in the end there is a delicious desert waiting for you.

It is on my dinner table tonight!
